This study examined the causal relationship between corporate social responsibility and corporate reputation in the telecom industry in Nigeria, and the overall perception about a firm’s past behavior and outcomes from the viewpoint of customers. This study employed a cross-sectional survey research methodology, with a population of 210,782 people picked using a multi-stage sample process and a structured questionnaire to elicit information. The result of the correlation shows that the environmental dimension of corporate social responsibility has a positive significant (p<0.000), and a strong relationship with the corporate reputation (r= 0.844). Based on these findings, the study concluded that MTN held a very good reputation in the eyes of its subscribers. Therefore, the study recommended that MTN Nigeria had to use the environmental dimension of corporate social responsibility critically with the view to improving the perception of stakeholders toward its effort on engaging in corporate social responsible activities in order to enhance its overall corporate reputation.

This is because the protection of the ecosystem requires the attention of every member of the society and all organisations are expected to comply with the directives of making the global space a better place and more affable for all. Based on these assertions, this study examined greening human resource management practices as a predictor of organisational sustainability among manufacturing firms in Lagos State. The study was anchored on the social exchange theory, ability, motivation and opportunity theory, and stakeholders’ theory respectively. A descriptive style of research design was employed followed by deductive and positivistic research philosophy; the population of the study was 606 and a sample size of 234 was used for the study through the convenience sampling method. Findings revealed that a significant relationship was found between the indicators of greening human resource management practices and components of organisational sustainability. It was concluded that greening human resource management practices can assist in salvaging challenges ravaging the process of sustainability, as HR functions are formidable enough as combatting tools. Therefore, management should prioritise short-listing applicants, who are sustainability-oriented, create a platform for educating employees about sustainability and establish a framework for rewarding employees who are sustainability compliant.
