The availability of uninterrupted services from the preferred brand is taking on a new dimension in the global market. With thorough brand descriptions and eye-catching items, social media marketing is hailed as a technological innovation tool that is significantly influencing an organization's ability to retain consumers in the business. The study aims to examine and investigate the effect of social media marketing on consumer retention in fast-moving consumer goods companies in Lagos state. Convenient random sampling procedures were carefully used in the study to administer the questionnaire. 140 elements made up the study's population, and the Raosoft sample size calculator was used to determine the study's 109-element sample size. A questionnaire was used to collect primary data in order to learn more about the present state of the study from the focus population. With a 73.4% response rate, a total of 80 questionnaires were confirmed as being properly completed and useful. The regression analysis (R=0.992, F=2323.188 p= 0.000) proves that the predictors are significant. The findings of the study show that social media marketing predictors have a favorable and substantial impact on customer retention. Therefore, the study came to its conclusion and suggested that Daily Beverage Company management make an effort to choose and implement a suitable social media marketing strategy in order to increase the organization's return on investment.
